Toothpick Vanish

THE EFFECT: You show the spectators a normal toothpick and with a quick flick of the wrist it vanishes into thin air! With another quick flick of the wrist it reappears. The spectators examine the toothpick and find nothing.


THE SECRET: All you need is a toothpick and some clear sticky tape. First you need to cut a small piece of clear sticky tape and put it on the end of the toothpick.


Next stick the toothpick to your thumb nail kind of upside down so the toothpick runs from your thumb nail down over the knuckle.


After you stick the toothpick on your thumb nail make a fist (toothpick pointing up to the sky) but place your thumb in the fist eg. pointer finger covering the thumbnail and tape.


It will simply look like your are holding a toothpick. To make the toothpick vanish simply open your fist and straighten your thumb. show your empty hand. To make it reappear make a fist again (with your thumb inside the fist)


TIP: Let the spectators examine the toothpick after the trick just make sure you leave the tape on your thumb!
