The French Drop

EFFECT: You show the audience an ordinary coin in one hand, then you grab it with the other hand

But when you open your hand, it has vanished!

SECRET: This is an EXTREAMLY simple coin vanish that I'm surprised isn't on here.

When you grab the coin with your free hand, in actuality, you're dropping it into the hand that's already holding the coin! Your free hand just covers it!

When you pull off the move, make sure that you move all the focus to your empty hand, otherwise you'll be caught!

and of course, if you want to, you can make the coin re-appear using whatever means you feel are best.
