RUBBER BAND TRICKS:
MINI ROUTINE

I love to perform rubber band tricks. There is something really appealing in taking these everyday household objects and performing mini miracles!

STRETCH YOUR MIND WITH THESE COOL RUBBER BAND TRICKS!

Below is a great routine of rubber band tricks that looks really impressive, but is quite easy to learn.

THE EFFECT: You take one ordinary rubber band between your fingers and a regular finger ring in your other hand. As if by magic you make the ring visually penetrate right onto the rubber band. The ring is clearly on the rubber band, there is no mistake. Just as quick you remove the ring right off the band!

Again you show how you can make the ring penetrate onto the band this time on just one side, you remove it once more just as magically. Finally you place the ring on the rubber band at an angle and make the ring travel up the band against gravity!

Once the effects have been performed both the ring and band can be handed out for thorough examination. Spectators will find nothing! Watch the performance video below then I will show you how it's all done...

RING ON RUBBER BAND:

This first effect is sneaky because you already have the ring on the rubber band in the first place. However utilizing the bands stretchy properties It looks like the ring and band are totally separate. Watch the video a few times to get the moves correct.

First take a rubber band and thread a finger ring onto it. Place the band on each of your pinky fingers (pic 1). Stretch the ring up to your thumb and pointer finger and grip it (pic 2).

Then with the ring finger of the same hand separate the rubber band (pic 3). Your middle finger then comes down on top of the band to clamp it in place, making a fist (pic 4).

From this view point it looks like the band and ring are separate (pic 5). Touch the ring a few times on the band then when you are ready to 'penetrate' the band simply touch the ring on the band one last time and release all of your fingers apart from the pinky's. The rubber band will spring back very quickly giving the illusion you just penetrated the band!

TIP: It's a really effective illusion and best of all you end completely clean ready to perform the next effect. Try and use a thin, stretchy rubber band for this trick it is much easier to perform!
